WE NEED YOU

PROJECT TEAM is a mentor program for Ocean Shores High School students who may:

Students are referred to PROJECT TEAM by counselors, teachers and parents. They must have parental permission and sign a student responsibility contract.

PROJECT TEAM Program Goals:

 

WHAT DOES A MENTOR DO?

A mentor spends time with a student one-on-one, acting as a positive role model, providing academic assistance, guidance and support, bridging the gap between high school and careers, and is a caring adult friend.

The greatest need for a kid today is another caring human being in their life.

AM I QUALIFIED TO BE A MENTOR?

If your are interested in youth, are motivated to make a difference in the life of a student and in your community and if you have high personal standards, problem solving skills and good communication skills, then .....
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MENTOR!

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?

The minimum requirements to be a mentor are:

A mentor and their student relationship is very unique, together they decide what schedule works for them. We hope you choose to make a difference in the lives of our community's youth, through the PROJECT TEAM Mentor Program.
